Yes. Since I "upgraded" to 1.5.0.2 I have had to hit the reset button
more than a couple of times. I start noticing the slowdown after
loading four or five web pages simultaneously. If I run Sysinternals'
Process Explorer, FireFox is hogging the CPU to the tune of 88%, yet
there is no downloading in progress, nothing happening much. These are
just passive pages. Sometimes it gets so bad that the whole puter
freezes up and I have to hit reset.
Basically, two years ago FF used to work well, just like Opera once
did. Now Mozilla have broken the world's best browser. Time to look
elsewhere, I reckon. They won't fix it. They've started down the rocky
road of patching and now it's f***ed, just like Exploder and Opera.
