Hi

I need to comeup with a backup startegy for portal and its components. I kno
w that   the normal portal backup include a file system backup and the porta
l DB backup. What i want to know is if the Portal server needs to be shutdow
n for every backup?

Could someone please help me with this simple yet critical question?

Hi, I have Websphere Portals installed in windows 2003 Server and in
Os/400,i am having some problems with strategys for implementing the backup
of portal server components. Could anyone please tell me, how do I can use
the file system backup and the DB backup of Websphere Portal
