I recently acquired a Keyspan Easy Presenter PR-EZ71 presentation device. I
wish to use this with my laptop for my presentations.

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.a...05&loc=101&sp=1

I have found some links via google that indicate that such a device can be
used as a USB HID mouse / keyboard combo.

I then entered the following in my /etc/X11/xorg.conf :

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Presentation Mouse"
Driver "usbmouse"
Option "CorePointer"
#Option "AlwaysCore"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mouse2"
Option "Protocol" "ImPS/2"
#Option "Emulate3Buttons" "false"
#Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection

The device is clearly being recognized as a mouse/keyboard hybrid :

device using uhci_hcd and address 2

So, clearly using usbmouse driver alone in xorg.conf is unlikely to work and
indeed it does not work.

Any suggestions ?

GC
