Is it possible to install Iplanet Web Logic Plug-in running Solaris platform
 and
WebLogic Server running Linux platform. The BEA weblogic would be 8.1 server
.
Similarly does it work for the nodemanagers running same weblogic versions b
ut
different OS platform?

Yes.  Your example configuration would use HTTP (TCP/IP, OSI/Layer 7)
as its means of communication.

Yes, once again.  Why should WebLogic Server's NodeManager need to
worry about the OS platform?
