Is there a way to view the traces from all of the App Inspector live
logs all at once? =20

Here is my situation:

I have an application that has many instances (1 million+) and I want to
see the connection info (such as client.referrer) when people connect to
those instances. The problem is once those people connect and I view
the active instance in App Inspector, it's too late to see that info in
the live log. I'd like to be able to have a window where all traces of
all instances show up as they connect. I don't mind writing my own app,
but I don't understand how to display the instance trace information.
Is there a certain Management ActionScript function to call to get that?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike Elskamp

You could write the traces to a log or you could use the admin API to build
your own app. But how that would work with that many instances I do not
know...
Probably best to go the log route.

Are you using FMS2?

There are only about 40 active instances at any given time, so I don't
think it would be a problem displaying them all at once. I've looked in
the admin API documentation, but I don't see anything that would display
the trace statements. Do you know what API method I should be looking
for? I'd love to be able to watch these real-time, but if it comes down
to it, logging would be sufficient.

This particular app is running on FCS1.5. =20

Thanks,

Ah ok, in that case I'm actually not sure if the traces can be pulled via
the admin api... But then again the admin console does it and I guess it
must also use the admin api.
Maybe someone else knows.
