I logged in to my CMS using site manager on Monday and was able to
connect without any issues. On Tuesday I tried to access the site
manager and recieved the following error:

The Microsoft Content Management Server proxy component is not
correctly installed.
Error: Automation error
The system cannot find the file specified.
Source: Login::ctlLogin_Click

My guess is that this has somethign to do with a Windows Update but I
am not sure. I is happening across multiple computers that have site
manager installed and across multiple projects and servers. This is on
XP SP2.

Has anyone else encountered this recently? Have you found a fix. Right
now I have to Remote Desktop to a Windows 2000 box and use site manager
from there. If this is a post for a different news group please let me
know where I should post.

regards,
-dcp

Hi DCP,

this means that you installed a new version of .NET on this box but did not
install the latest J# redistributable.
Maybe you installed .NET 2.0?
Then you need to install the J# redistributable for 2.0 as well.
You can find the redistributables for all versions here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vjsharp/d...et/default.aspx

Cheers,
Stefan
