I'm experiencing the same behavior, but only when adding the MCMS
project to a larger solution. By creating the MCMS website project
first, I can get the Template Explorer window to appear. It stays
around for a while - even after adding my other projects to the
solution - but inevitably will dissapear, usually after closing the IDE
or trying to dock the window.
Opening the MCMS website in a separate instance of the IDE, however,
makes the Template Explorer window (or the menu option) to available
(in the MCMS project only instance, not the multi-project solution).
It would appear then, that the only way to develop with VS2005 for MCMS
is by using two instances of the IDE - which is highly inconvenient to
say the least.
Nice job guys.
