Hi,
I have a file send port, that I need to copy a flat-file (abc.txt) to a
second server.

Biztalk account does not have the privileges to the second server.

How do I copy the file under a new username/password (that is provided by
the second server administrator)?

When Ftp (send port), there is a option for the username and password....
but not for the FILE option.

any help is very appreciated

Thanks
Nalaka

This functionality is not provided in BTS 2004, but is available in BTS
2006.

Hi Nalaka,

In BizTalk 2004, you have to specify a domain account as identity of the
BizTalk host which has permission on both machines.

Thanks.

In Biztalk 2006 the FILE adapter allows you to set alternate credentials on
send and receive ports.

I don't think Biztalk 2004 provides this feature.
There may be a workaround in Biztalk 2004 but it would be dependent on the
topology of you Biztalk server.
Do you have Biztalk and SQL server on the same server?
Is the second server in the same domain as the Biztalk server?
