Dear All,

Is it possible that I can change the CCM from publisher to subscriber after
the installation been completed? Because the publisher now is CCM 4.02(a)
but I only have CCM 4.0(1) installation disk, when I tried to install the
subscriber it wil be refued due to the different version of publisher. So I
plan to install the new one as publisher too, and then change to subscriber
(join the original CCM cluster). But I don't know how to do that, please
kindly advise if there is the way to change it. Thanks a lot.

Regards,

Alan

As far as I know, there is no way to promote/demote publishers or subscriber
s.

I think you might be stucking having to restore from backup, i've never
heard of a way to change server roles like that. If you have SAU support
maybe you can order a set of 4.02(a) discs from the product upgrade tool?
