Hi Andrew & Stephan
You are right, there's no need to rush on new product version except
that :
- we slowed down our dev to make easier the migration and customers
have limited patience
- we want some of the new features like workflow, master pages (yes we
can have it with CMS SP2), sharepoint designer etc etc. We all know
that current CMS have some limitations that the next version do not
have
- as a good geek, I'm really interested in new techno
- we paid also for software assurance which is compromised for next
year.
But I think the changes between the two versions is so huge that the
migration will be very difficult. We'll need to train again the
authors, re-do what we did two years ago, switch from a mature system
to something new (with new bugs, new admin processes ...)
Here's my vision
Regards
Emmanuel
