Hi,

Is there a tool or a way to find out if a movie (AVI, MOV) was encoded
to FLV correctly. For instance like using FFMpeg to encode a movie
file to FLV, how can one double check if the encoding happened
correctly?

Thanking in anticipation.

I play all the vids I encode with either sorenson or red5 with this flv
player. in the upper left corner is an arrow. Click it to veiw metadata.

If the player resizes automatically and plays the movie, then that's a good
indication of how well your FLV was encoded etc.

hth,

JG

John,
I also left some feedback on your site about the player. The buttons below
the video never appear for me.. no scrubber.. nothing. Any ideas?

I'm on Win XP Pro.

Hi,

I was more concerned with finding a solution on the server to see a
flag off or on if a Movie File was encoded correctly or not?

Btw, John, that is a cool FLV Player.

requires Flash 8 ocx. It's not packaged with the player, but I could change
that since zinc provides that option.

Let me know

Heya John, did you ever get a chance to look into this. Just bumped into
another instance where I need to check the encoding.

Thx!
