I'm trying to install debian 3.1r2 on my athlon xp system. It is an asus a7n
8x-e
with two IDE hard drives. The first has my Windows XP installation on and
several partitions which are correctly recognised during installation. The
second has lilo booting to Mandriva 2006, some free space and a few other
partitions.

My problem is that although partman sees the second drive during the install
 it
sees none of the partitions on it and only gives me the option of formatting
 the
entire drive.
