Hi

During compilation of a program (gwyddion), the above occurs. I have in past
successfully compiled it on my Debian etch system, but recently upgraded to
xorg ver 7, and that was a fraught process.

I do seem to have the library I need, but ld does not seem to know it :

$file -L /usr/X11R6/lib/libICE.so
/usr/X11R6/lib/libICE.so: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version
1 (SYSV), stripped

Any ideas ?

Thanks.
