Is this architecture possible or do I have to use SQLSerfer 2000 as my
database server?  If iti possible, are their any known issues or published
articles that explain what to do to get the two to work toghether?  Or does
it just work!

Hello Tom,

Works just fine and is supported as long as you're running CMS 2002 SP2.

Hi Tom,

you can use SQL 2005 if you are using MCMS 2002 SP2.
You also should install the following hotfixes:
