I finally got to the point of testing my solution.  Now I am having a proble
m
submitting the PO Confirmation.  In infopath, when I select "PurchaseOrder
Confirmation".  I get the error:  "Automation Server can't create object".
My site IS listed as a trusted site in IE which I see can be one of the
causes of this.  I can't find any information on this except suggestions to
change the site to a trusted site.  Anyone know of any other reasons why thi
s
would fail?

It's trying to create MS XML Document object. If your site is in the
trusted sites area, then check that the ActiveX related settings in IE are
set to prompt. Changing these settings for the purpose of completing the
demo might be fine but for a production system it's not recommended.

Other possible problem could be caused by Enhanced IE Security component
(or something like that) being installed on your machine.

Thanks for your reply and good suggestions.  I did check the ActiveX
settings and I have tried it with them set to "prompt" as well as "enabled"
with no luck.  I haven't been able to see that any kind of other security
component is there, but  I actually un-installed the IE Enhanced Security
Components from the server to see if that would fix it.  It's just a test
machine so I'm not really worried about security.  I'd be happy to remove
anything at this point just to get through the darn tutorial.  I put in a
call to Microsoft, so I'm hoping they'll get back to me today with the answe
r.

Adrian,

I take that back.  Removing the "Enhanced Security for IE" did work.  It's
just that when I removed it, the site that had been added to trusted sites
was gone.  So I just had to re-add that.
