Hi,
I'm using a debian etch release kernel 2.6.15 on my laptop Fujitsu Siemens
Amilo v2045.
The wireless card is a Intel 2200bg.
I have installed the last driver (1.1.2) and the last firmware (3.0)
release.
Everything works fine except the monitor mode :
iwconfig eth2 mode monitor
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
Â_ Â_ SET failed on device eth2 ; Invalid argument.

iwconfig eth2 mode 2 doesn't change the mode

modeinfo ipw2200 gives :
parm: Â_ Â_ Â_ Â_ Â_ mode:network mode (0=BSS,1=IBSS) (int)
p

dmesg :
ipw2200: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200/2915 Network Driver, 1.1.2
ipw2200: Copyright(c) 2003-2006 Intel Corporation
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:06:05.0[A] -> GSI 20 (level, low) -> IRQ 50
ipw2200: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection

Thanks for help
