Hello, I have a CS installation on two machine. SQL server on one machine
(1) and CS and CMS on the other (2). I read the CS documentation and it says
that I don't need to install direct mailer on the sql server machine. I
create the a direct mailer campaign with the business desk (on 2) and it
creates the job on sql server. The jobs always fail. This is not strange
because sql try to call dmlrun.exe that is not present on 1 but only on 2.
How can I make direct mailer works on 2 as stated on documentation?

Thank you

Marco Campulla

Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.

You need to install DM on both servers. From the documentation "Direct
Mailer depends on SQL Server Agent". Also, there is no Direct Mailer
client so we need DM installed on the SQL box too to work.
