Hi all.

Our company runs a cluster of webservers which connect to a
single SQL server running Commerce Server 2000. I'm
trying to setup a new SQL server running Windows Server
2003, but am running into difficulties making the transition.

Basically, the trouble is, I can import the databases and
install Commerce Server correctly on the new SQL server,
but I can't get the webservers to connect with the new SQL
server properly.

Is there anyone out there who's made this transition who
could offer some pointers on what basic steps to take?

Thanks.

Chris,

It sound like you haven't changed the connection strings for your Commerce
resources in the Commerce server manager to point to your new SQL Server.
Make sure to change all site and global resources. Don't miss the
connection strings for your partitions under the global profile resource.

Thanks
