I've just returned from visiting my cousin up north of Scotland and I don't
know if it's the rural life or boredom but since the Twin Towers horror he's
become neurotic on VHS taping the news with regards anything related to
terrorism. This includes not just news bullitins but also programs on the
subject. I ain't got a clue how many videos with 6 hours on each he has;
perhaps a couple of hundred!!

I suggested a psychiatrist or something when he had to be home for the news,
it pissed me off; but then I got thinking. When the Trade Centre was
attacked, he happened to have the telly on and it all started from there, he
stuck a tape in and recorded it and hasn't stopped. I watched chunks of that
first tape, in truth I ended up watching it all (perhaps I'm as sad as he
is!), it brought back the horror and it reminded me of what the hell the
world is coming to.

He has all these tapes and they're growing. What kind of market out there is
there if he used his computer and say set up a web site and offered to send
a copy of the stuff. He's a wizard at the computer and I suppose wouldn't
find it difficult to copy the VHS tapes to CD or DVD if he gets a DVD
burner.

I know he'd be infringing the copyright of the various programs he's copied,
is it worth him doing? If he did it how does he set the site up so as he can
charge whatever for a DVD to be sent? I wouldn't even know what the hell a
fair price would be. When I got thinking about it, I'm a UK resident in
Scotland and I found it engrossing; I feel that there's an international
market because the UK presentations are way up there, I'm biased and so I
would say second to none.

I really would sincerely appreciate some kind of feedback on this. He's
unemployed and maybe he could get a fresh start doing what he loves doing.

Thanks.
