FrontPage 2003 is installed on the web server (Windows 2000). I am trying to publish m
y web pages from the development folder to the http:// address. There are t
wo problems that I can see. First, the Publish dialogue form does not autom
atically find my
web server. In the address field, it just displays “http://” instead of “ht
tp://websvr.” Second, when I try to publish the web pages, I get an error
message stating that the server extensions may not be loaded. They are loa
ded. Thank you for
any help that you can provide.

In the publish dialogue form, I did enter the correct http:// address and tr
ied to publish the web pages. I got the error, “Unable to open 'http://se
rvername... Server Error: The web server at "http://servername" does not app
ear to have Windows sharepo
int services installed. Possible causes:
1. The web server may not have the frontpage server extensions installed
2. the web server may be temporarily out of service
3. if you are connecint through a proxy server the proxy server settings may
 be incorrect
4. an error may have occurred in the web server

The extensions are installed. The web server is up and running. I am not c
onnecting through a proxy.

I am at a loss. Thank you for any help that you can provide.
