Hi Smith,
Check if there is a fpcount.exe file in the _vti_bin virtual directory of
the web site.
Regards,
Vijay

| Hi all,
First post here and I promise to make it a good one! We are running FP 2000
server extensions on Windows 2000 Advanced Server. We have one server at
some point decide it doesnt want to show the frontpage counters on any of
the web pages of various sites hosted on the box. We have uninstalled and
reinstalled the extensions, wiped out all the _vti folders and reinstalled,
set permissions on the Inetpub, c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\Web Server Extensions\40, and the c:\WINNT\system32\inetsrv
directories. We recalculated the sites from the server and from frontpage.
We even have tried upgrading to fp 2002 extensions and that hasnt worked
either. All other frontpage components on the sites work except for the
counters! The counter just shows a red x. Has anyone ever seen this before?
How do we fix it? Thanks in advance! Web site address is
