Question what the heck is Sharepoint Server and why does BizTalk Adapter for
Web Services need it to run? This is rediculous. This is just another way
for MS to sell another license for something i don't need!

First of all, windows sharepoint services is the platform for portals on
Windows.

Secondly, it is free for windows 2003 so noone is trying ot get you to buy
another license.

Third, it is only required for Business Activity Services, which is a portal
site for managing trading partners and their agreements. It is not required
for the web services adapter (which I know because I have web service
adapters running on my XP Pro laptop.

And finally, if you don't even know what it is, how do you know you don't
need it?
