While it does a wonderful job in Xml instance generation/xsd validation, as 
you rightly pointed out; what I was expecting was an XSLT output from Biztal
k mapper--
the way it had always been in previous Biztalk XML tools since year 2000 (Ev
en Biztalk 2004 Beta had this feature.)

With growing .NET/XML/XSLT interoperability, as demonstated by "Dare Obasanj
o" of Microsoft Corporation in his exciting articles:

To my surprise,  It almost appears that XSLT generation has been taken out a
ltogether from that tool!

Are Microsoft XML/XSLT developers in "microsoft.public.biztalk.tools", suppo
sed to use XmlSpy /Mapforce 2004)?? -- I don't imagine this is what BT 2004 
designers had really intended.

When you validate the map, the output window should give you a link to the X
SLT file it generates.  I have used this in the release version.  Also, when
 you test a map, you get a link in the output window to the generated docume
nt from the map.  

I think that is what you were looking for in your first post.  

Also, you can use the scripting functoid to do inline XSLT right in your map
 or you can create your own XSLT file and just link to it from the propertie
s window for the map grid.  

In the next release of Visual Studio the xslt creation will be much improved
 with support for debugging your xslt.
