Which log file analysis (web analytics) software do you use? How much
traffic does your site get? What parts of your software are you happy
with? What could use improvement? I'm looking for opinions to help
with selecting a vendor in the next few weeks.

Our sites are fairly high volume (40,000-60,000+ visits per day). We
need something that can be setup to provide specific reporting for
each content group or department in our organization. We're looking
for something that can handle our traffic, log files, and allow us to
archive reports for several years.

Have you looked into Omniture? Somewhat of a bias opinion, however I
believe that you would be happy with the solution.
