I don't know anything about the "mldonkey" application. However,
bittorrent will resume a download, if you point the download to the same
folder as the previous attempt...
I used bittorrent and was able to download the 5 CD set in about 24 hours,
on a 1.5 Mbps DSL connection. I did open my firewall and forward ports
6881-6889 (or whatever they are, don't recall for sure)...
