I am looking for a template that will help me write my term papers in
MLA format. I have OpenOffice.orgs writer (off the mandrake 9.1 CD's)
and Kword 1.2.1 I believe (from the texstar release of KDE 3.1.4/5?) I
have been to the OOo web site as well as the OOExtras site with no
luck, searching for a template as well as our friend Google and
google/linux. I know that I can eventually set up my own template but
I need to get the work done ASAP. I like OOo but may have to go back
to Word 2k for this if I can not find some help. It does NOT look good
to Professors if one of my age hands in improper assignments. Thanks
for any help.

Hard to believe that you tried Google.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though.

I am not a Google guru, but I got this at the top
of my first search:
http://www.cc.mie-u.ac.jp/~lq20106/eg5000/templates/

Am I missing your point? Is there something wrong with this template?

Here is my search pattern (watch out for the word wrap):
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...+
Search

BTW, it's considered bad form to crosspost.
I personally don't care though.

Good luck in your studies and stick with Linux & OOo.

Thanks, I thought it might not go over well is why I only stuck it in
2 groups.
