Folks,
I'm running Exchange2k fully patched on a Windows 2k Server box. It's
been working wonderfully for months until this morning. I noticed in
Services that SMTP had stopped and that we weren't receiving any
external email. I restarted it, but every time I do, it kills IISAdmin,
Web Publishing, and the POP/IMAP/routing engine in Exchange! I've tried
killing inetinfo, starting the services from scratch, but nothing. In
the eventlog, I get
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7031
Date: 6/19/2006
Time: 1:04:00 PM
User: N/A
Computer: WEBSITE
Description:
The IIS Admin Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done
this 9 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0
milliseconds: No action.

for IIS Admin, IMAP, POP, etc.

I'm freaking out! What the heck?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
thanks,
Russ
