Hi list,
I believe a lot of you might have heard of a chat program called 123 Flash
Chat.
I recently saw that they have a A/V chat functionality (in Flash) that looks
like it uses FMS/FlashCom as its backbone but yet their admin claims that
they are using a Java server for A/V broadcasting within Flash.
This really strikes me as odd... if they use a P2P architecture... I really
know no direct method for this... and if they are using a client/server
solution.... there is a server software that can replace FMS/FlashCom for
A/V sharing/broadcasting??? Strange...
If you wanna take a look at this app... here is the URL:
http://host10.123flashchat.com/av_demo/
Don't tell me they hacked into the FMS/FlashCom code and made use of it...
:-p Or there is something that can replace this area of functionality in
FMS/FlashCom?
Best regards,
Peter Wu
