:: have you tryed to puplish a void stream with that given name ?

I look more into that but I don't think it will work. I use the tomcat
session id as the filename for recording from the microphone which gives me
a .flv file like: 238230829073373297hfdh292.flv

As soon as I have that file I create a second audio file based on it like:
238230829073373297hfdh292.mp3 which I then stream out to the user. When the
user records a new voice or pick a different soundscape a new
238230829073373297hfdh292.mp3 is generated - however, the FMS server has
cached the old in (of the same filename) in RAM and so the new file doesn't
get played to the user.

I think that I can only publish out .flv files so that would clear the voice
track which I would like to keep. It is the mp3 stream that I want to clear
- anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,
Gabriel
