No it's not. Only CS2007 is supported on SQL2005. Ryan Donovan, the Product
Unit Manager (PUM) for Commerce Server explains this in his blog.

I believe I have easy question, is CS2002 using SQL2005 a supported
configuration by Microsoft? Can't seem to locate the Info on MSDN.
