I tried to use the configuration of my netscape.com e-mail account, an
IMAP service, to setup the Mozilla Mail. The result was disoppointing. I
could not log on to my account. Since Mozilla 1.2.1 and netscape 7 use
the same core. I presume the config in one browser can be used in the
other. Furthermore, I did use Mozilla 1.6 to recieve mail from my
Netscape account, except it was in Windows environment.

Can anyone tell me how I should further change the config in Mozilla? I
just set the IMAP server to "imap.mail.netscape.com" and the port to
143. Do I need to change anything else? Or, is it only browsers later
than Mozilla 1.6 support this feature?

Mozilla doesn't support Netscape.net accounts. It's a proprietary feature
for netscape browsers.
