I'm having a problem with my Maxtor One Touch II. Apparently I am not
loading Retrospect Express HD. When I attempt to load it I get a
message "Loading Retrospect HD". Sometimes it will go to the Welcome
Screen where I get the message "Updating Status" "0 Restore Points
Available". The only option I have is "Setup" and nothing happens when
I click it. The Maxtor drive does appear on "My Computer" and I can
access it. When I access the "Restore Point' folder it shows restore
points up to 7/17/06. The Maxtor hard drive seems to be active as the
light conditions change from avtive to idle. This is a Maxtor USB Hard
Drive. I'm running Windiws XP SP2 on a HP Media Center PC. This device
has been working. In fact I used the backup info two weeks ago after a
full recovery. Thanks in advance for any input.
