Could someone please take the time to explain how "agpgart" works and
what "internal agpgart" is.

There are hundreds of "howtos" around for installing ATI drivers : none
of which work for me. The whole "internalagpgart" thing has now
scrambled my brains.

What does it mean? Does it mean different things? Is "internal" only in
reference to the kernel? Or when used in conjunction with the ATI drive
is it "internal to the ATI driver"?

Any info greatly appreciated.

This was a perfectly legitimate question and one which is plaguing a LOT
of ATI card owners. But being the Linux lickspittle zealot that you are,
you refuse to admit any problems exist : if you had your own opinion,
you'd be dangerous.

So, to summarise, kindly DO NOT bring your blind zealotry to legitimate
newsgroups where saner people than you actually help each other
out. Keep your pre-pubescent hero worship to COLA where it belongs and
