Seems like a lot less hassle than Stunnel-Tor-Socks-JBN
and almost as anon.

Yes, but be sure your browser wears protection any time it's poking
around in Google. Or anywhere really. Turn off or filter as much crap
as you can using your browser's settings, use Privoxy or some other
content scrubber, or read up regarding the Firefox extensions and use
those.

Side note: The FoxyProxy extension looks very appealing at first
glance, but I believe it would be a bad thing. Setting individual sites
to be anonymized or not completely ignores things like hot linking that
cause your browser to look to another site for some of the page
content. You could be outed by visiting a page that called content from
a site that wasn't in your list.

I use Tor + Privoxy via Firefox, and I turn off Java, and also
set Firefox to delete data, cookies etc after shutdown.

it's unsigned.

The problem there is that I've never seen a *signed* Firefox / Mozilla
plugin...

Would this system apply to setting up an anonymous blog?
I'd like to blog but I need pretty assured anonymity.
