    Problem configuring LDAP for Portal

I have modified wpconfig.properties according to the info center to configur
e LDAP for the WSP when running the WPSconfig.bat I get the error

Could not connect to LDAP directory at specified host, port and SSL state

I access LDAP through http://localhost/ldap

Whats the problem

Make sure you are able to ping the LDAP machine from the Portal server. If y
ou can then you need to provide the fully qualified host name of the LDAP ma
chine for the "LDAPHostName" property in the "wpconfig.properties"  file. Al
so check the Port number fo
r LDAP. It is "389" by default.

run the task : "validate-ldap" and see what happens.

What ldap server are you using. You can't set it up that way, you only
need setup the full server dns name.
