I need help.
I did unpack my site on a new machine to be able to have a Developpement env
ironment.  But When I unpacked the site, il did put every thing in the same 
and unique data base, not like the prod environment.  So I Restore my backup
 of the data bases from my
prod  to my development machine.  It went right.  But in Commerce Server Man
ager, I have no profile in the Global ressource and I would like to be able 
to configure it so I will be able to view and test the site.  I get an error
 profile that says:  Cannot
resolve collation confilct for equal operation.  How can make functionnal my
 commerce server 2000 dev. environment?

Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.

There are several things you need to consider.  Has the profile been
modified and was it also packed and unpacked like the other resources.  Are
the profiles tables and/or database present in the physical database?  Can
you see the profile resource at all and can you test the connection string?
Try deleting and unpupping the resource again point them to a dummy db
and then change the connection string.

Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.

One more thing to check.  Check that the development environment has the
same collation method as the production environment for SQL Server 2000.
