BIZTALK 2002

I have an inbound document specification which is flat
file, positional format. Several attributes within the
spec are data type Number.

If the incoming file contains spaces for the number
attributes then inbound spec passes the file. How does one
configure the spec so it rejects the file when it comes
across spaces for a number attribute
