Hi,
Don't know whether this is the right group to ask this question.
I wanted to know if there is any live cd distribution of linux which
has all programming tools installed like gcc? Usually live cds don't
have them.
Thanks

comp.os.linux.* might be able to help.

I think you'll find what you need in Knoppix:
http://www.kernel.org/pub/dist/knoppix/packages.txt

It comes with several versions of gcc, gdb, bash, perl, python, etc.

You can also have a look to lfs live's cd (linux from scratch), as you
could as well do your own cd by mirroring your actual system, it isn't
rocket science and there's a lot of documentation such like the very
old but still reference point "bootdisk howto"; available from tldp.

Kind Regards,
