Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to install Commerce Server 2002 on my
Windows XP x64 edition. I don't mind at all if it is not supported.

So far, I managed to install it on Windows XP Pro 32 bit via the SP3, but on
my computer it doesn't accept my windows version.

Thanks for your help,
vLabz

help,
I'm stuck with this problem, I need to install it for dev purposes. Any
piece of info concerning raw or manual install of CS 2002 is welcome. If I
don't manage to, I'll have to reinstall my machine with a 32 bit OS so I'm
ready to do "bad things" regarding CS installation.

How to bybass the OS control when I launch SetupDevEdition.exe (from sp3) ?

vLabz,

Just a thought here, but Microsoft Virtual Server 2002 R2 runs absolutely
wonderfully on Win XP x64, and it's a free download! You can leave your
current installation alone and host an image running a previous version of
windows and do all of your development work on that.

There are also a multitude of other benefits provided by virtualization,
ranging from disaster recovery to portability. At the very least, look into
virtualizing your development environment before you start reformatting your
machine. Ever since I've switched to using virtual environments, life has
been pretty sweet.
