Can CMS 2002 SP2 run on Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64Edition?
If so are there ant limitations or known issues?

Also of note, the Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64Edition CD ROM did
not install x64 framework by default. You have to get it from here.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...%2fdefault.aspx

Thanks

Tom

Hi Tom,

yes it can be used if MCMS 2002 SP2 is installed.
But you need to ensure that IIS runs in 32 bit mode as MCMS does not support
64 bit.

Cheers,
Stefan

Do you have a link on how to run IIS in 32 bit mode on a 64 bit machine?
Also, if I use SQLServer 2005 as my DB for CMS, does CMS care if the DB
server is 64 bit Zeon and Windows 2003 x64 R2 OS?

Thanks

Tom

Hi Tom,

no in my hands.
I remember that it is done with a specific metabase key.
I would suggest to post this question on an IIS related newsgroup.

MCMS does not care about what processor type your SQL server runs on.

Cheers,
Stefan
