Hi,
I installed community ODBC adapter from TopXML. I configured it successfully
in Biztalk server 2006 administration console. Now if i create a biztalk
project in visual studio and then add generated items, i cannot see add
adapter option. However i can see add adapter metadata option and if i selec
t
it, it shows only SQL and not my odbc adapter.
What step have i missed .

Hi there,
I have not investigated the ODBC adapter you are using but yes I would
say its not necessary for all adapters to implement adapter metadata
harvesting. This is the technique used by adapter developers to provide
you the auto generated schemas as artefacts for ease of development.
Please check if this adapter provides the same.
