Hi all,

I have managed to configure the CS 2007 Starter Site with the help of people
on this discussion group.

I can view the list of Products, I can search a product and then follow its
link. Cart is also viewable and if I have added a product in the cart I can
view that as well.

Now my trouble lies in "My Account" part. Whenever I click on it I cannot
view the page. It comes with the error "The Page cannot be displayed" and
"The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might b
e
experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings."

Now tried to change the permission in IIS but it does not help.

And my other question is about Starter Site it self. It might be stupid to
ask but is there any biz desk for this starter site? Since I am unaware of
things I don't how can I or how would I be able to configure things?

Please if some one could guide me on this please!

Many thanks
Shriroop

Hey Shriroop,

Is the URL using HTTPS? If so, is the web site setup to use a certificate
(you can use SelfSSL from the IIS Resource kit to generate a test
certificate).

Also, try using Fiddler (www.fiddlertool.com) to see if you can get some
more information about what is going on at the HTTP level (including HTTP
error codes).

Cheers!
Colin

Many Thanks Colin,

This did help. It was the SSL configuration. I skipped it because the
Starter Site Configuration instructions given with the pakage say that you
can skip that configuration. But anyways I have configured the SSL using
SelfSSL which is working fine.

Regards
Shriroop.
