I'm using SSO to store the user schema and password for the Oracle
connection. I've followed the instructions from the tutorial in Oracle DB
Adapter.
At runtime I got these 3 errors from the Adapter:
1)
Exception occurred:
Error Code: 1017 (0x3f9)
28000 : [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-01017: invalid username/password;
logon denied

2)
Invalid target:
Insert@OracleDb://"servicename"/"user-schema"/Tables/"tablename"

3)
Error transmitting message: <SOAP-ENV:Fault
xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><faultcode>SOAP-E
NV:Client</faultcode><faultstring>Request ID: Unknown
Exception Type: The method does not exist
Exception Info:
Exception occurred:
Invalid target: Invalid target:
Insert@OracleDb://"servicename"/"user-schema"/Tables/"tablename"</faultstrin
g></SOAP-ENV:Fault>

I know the affiliate application in SSO works because if I change the
mappings or the credentials during desgin time, I would've an error. I'd onl
y
see the DB objects if I have the proper mappings and credentials.

Any ideas?

Hi -

The only thing I can suggest from an Enterprise Single Sign-On (ENTSSO)
point of view is to turn the ENTSSO auditing level up to make sure that the
credentials are actually being retrieved correctly from ENTSSO at runtime -

cd Program Files\Common Files\Enteprise Single Sign-On
ssooconfig -auditlevel 3 3

.. then restart your ENTSSO service, clear the Application event log,
perform your test again, look in the Application event log - you should see
an information message indicating that the credentials were read from
ENTSSO. If not, something is not quite right with your Oracle adapter
configuration. If there is a message it should provide further info. Of
course, make sure that you have set the correct Oracle (external)
credentials for the SSO Affiliate Application name that you are using, and
the Windows user you are running as.

Hope that helps.
