Hallo all,
we have two servers - publishing and editing. Both now on SP2. On
publishing we run incredibly fast with cms published items browsing,
but we have a very slow speed of editin server. Both are good dell
servers. Does anybody similar experience ? Has it any solution to make
it run faster ? Thank you all,

Hi Martin,

do both servers connect to the same SQL server or the same database?
Do both server require authentication? Sometimes the performance to access
the DC is bad.

Hallo, yes, both are using the same Sql and same DC. Both again on
powerfull machines. Could here be something with caching on CMS side ?.
We have user our pages without ASP.net page caching, but speed was
several times higher on out publish server.

Hi Martin,

if both machines use the same templates it should not be related to template
caching.
Did you configure the MCMS memory cache the same?

This was indeed what it wanted. After setting Node memory caching In
SCA for a large number it works well (well - better .
To be more concrete, I have set 80 000, but with my quick-by-eye
measurement there was not so much improvement from 40 000. Also I have
used Disk cache set to 10 000 MB (but this is I thing not necessary).

Hi Martin,

please ensure that your machine runs in /3GB mode when configuring to 80000.
For /2GB mode we recommend not to exceed 35000.
