Hi!
I'm trying to understand how ntbackup works, yet I'm at odd.
Here are my odds:

- how do I call backup processes I usually do? Can I save a backup
process and run it whenever I want?
- if I choose 'incremental', what kind of file is the first file which
is saved? is it 'normal'?
- if I want to save incremental backups of a specified process, should I
choose the normal.bkf as the target/destination file? I tried, and the
file keeps growing. I read one should save a normal file on a separate
directory, then the incremental files on a \Incremental directory.

Thanks in advance!
max

Backup configs are saved to file. Recall them with File -> Load Selections.

Normal backup is full backup. Yes, make a normal backup first.

Backup directory structure is a personal preference.

You might like BackupAssistant, which is a front end for NTBackup.
