Hello,

I am getting error 6 when users press extension moility button. It happens
immediately, without users getting the chance to log in. This CCM 4.2

I reset all passwords using ccmpwdchanger and the admin utility. Still no

I got the same error message when I changed the DC Directory password
without changing the service passwords with the adminutility...

So, here's the problem: the CCM service account that logs into DC Directory,
can't, because you changed the password.

When users are logging into Extension Mobility, they are trying to retrieve
their device profile from DC Directory... If for some reason CCM can't talk
to DC Directory (the service accounts don't match the DC Directory
password), you get that error...

Now, for solutions, I would first start by restarting the DC Directory
service on all nodes in the cluster... (step 1).

Step 2, if the above doesn't work (and we know the passwords are
syncronized), we reboot the Publisher.

Here's your error BTW, " Database Error: The Extension Mobility service
received an error while trying to communicate with the database."

Now, in all likelihood, the problem has more to do with a mismatch with the
CCM Service password and the DC Directory password...
