IIS hang or crash when using MS Access on server 2003

to anybody that have this proble:
Microsoft sent me a new msjets40.dll that fix this problem on my server.
It is not publish yet, but I got it since I reported this bug and had
open case. It seems to be working fine after replacing this dll on my
server. It used to crash twice a day, and now it's obver a week with no
problems at all. I you want this dll, please email me at

While I applaud your efforts to help, I would have to ask that people call
Microsoft Support to obtain any supported patch.

I'm not discounting your integrity nor intentions, but I surely would not
put a binary from an arbitrary person on the Net onto my server, no matter
who they claim to be or their intentions.

Don't forward the DLL. For one thing, it's unsupported and not
distributable. For another, the product support staff needs to track
the cases that this DLL fixes to ensure it really is the fix and
doesn't break anything else. The fix is free from Microsoft if you
have this issue.

Further, Microsoft suggested that if the above fix oes not resolve the issue
, you can try the following KB article that might also assist.
