Hello,

The SMTP service running on IIS 5.0 on my Windows 2000 Server quit running l
ast Friday. I hadn't made any changes to the server that day, but since arou
nd 1:00 pm all outgoing emails remain in the Queue folder.

An event raised as a warning appears in the system log with event id of 4000
:

Message delivery to the remote domain 'ctilidar.com' failed for the followin
g reason: The remote server did not respond to a connection attempt.

I'm not sure what changed to cause this. Any help would be greatly appreciat
ed!

Just wanted to add to this- all the emails are being sent internally- the sy
stem using SMTP is on an Intranet.
