I am running it fine too... actually, I upgraded it to 5.1.1 last week...

The trick is making sure you select IDE for the hard drive.

I created a 72GB HD, but did not allocate space to it (I am letting it grow
as needed)...

Just to come full loop.

We are running a Virtual Infrastructure setup. Multiply Servers with a
SAN so that if hardware fails it just reboots on a different platform
automatically. So I was trying to install it via the Virtural
Infrastructure Client via the CD which just doesn't seem to work. I
then created a ISO image on the management server and it worked.

I now have CM 5.0.4 installed and working (still working on License
file)

How is the best way to shut down server....... (there's NO Start -->
shutdown LOL)?

Scott

From the CLI:
utils system shutdown

from the GUI:
OS Administration -> Restart -> Shutdown system.
