I have configured DB2 8.1 with Websphere Portal Server 5.0,where will be the
 credential segements and slots are stored?Is it in portal itself or in DB2?
Pls help me out.

WebSphere portal provides a default internal vault implementation that
saves credential data in the WebSphere Portal database tables.  You
may also use and external implemenation of the vault, such as IBM
Tivoli Access Manager lock box.
